Milwaukee Brewers Tickets

Based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the Milwaukee Brewers are popularly known as “The Brew Crew”. The Franchise came into existence in 1969 and has been playing in Milwaukee since 1970.The Brewers finished their first season at Milwaukee at 65 – 97 record and could not manage to post a winning record till 1978. Season 1978, the Brewers won 93 games and the following season they finished in 2nd place with .590 score.

For season 1982, the Milwaukee Brewers claimed the American League pennant and won against the California Angels in the American League Championship Series but eventually they lost to the St. Louis Cardinals. The Decade of 1980s witnessed the emergence of few key players : Rollie Fingers who was awarded as the Most Valuable Player and Cy Young Award in 1981, Robin Yount was named as the Most Valuable Player in the years 1982 and 1989 and Pete Vuckovich, was named for the Cy Young Award in 1982. After such remarkable performances and achievement by the team lineup , the Brew Drew slipped a bit from 1989 through 1991. In 1992 the Brewers again posted a winning season with 92-70 record and attained 2nd place but after 1992 season the team again went through the rough patch. In 2005, the Brewers posted 81- 81 record, which was their first non losing record in past thirteen years.
